Dear IOT-OPEN.EU Partners and Friends! May this Easter bring your happiness and contentment. Happy Easter!
We’re glad to announce that project as mentioned earlier review and advisory audit as performed by the FRSE representative (see information here) has been evaluated, and we got the best positive result after all. We’re looking forward to hitting the best practices Erasmus+ list, hopefully, once the project is finished. Thank you for all the […]
We got a new science adviser in IOT-OPEN.EU project. Babak Kia, senior Lecturer at the Boston University College of Engineering. He has a wide industry experience and advises on the spheres of Hardware, Embedded, Connected and IoT projects.
We did. Something special. Here comes beta version of the general purpose VREL lab node implemented under IO3. There are two camera feeds where you can observe laboratory live: http://220.127.116.11:10000/ http://18.104.22.168:10001/
It’s time to do some creative work. Starting today we introduce custom made photos of the electronic components we use for the Intellectual Output preparation.
VREL remote lab nodes are on its way! Here comes time for the show! SUT Team has successfully finished mechanical assembling 6 of 7 VREL remote distant lab nodes. Now we need to equip this stuff with IoT devices and provide remote access for you. Keep watching and get ready for VREL experience in your […]
On February 12th we were glad to present current progress in our project to the external auditor from the FRSE – Polish National Agency for Erasmus+ programme. Evaluation held by consortium GA and Auditor covered Intellectual Outputs, project management, dissemination and quality assurance. We’re trying to keep highest standards, to reach Erasmus+’s Best Practices projects […]
In the end of January we presented IOT-OPEN.EU consortium in Tokyo, Waseda University, one of the famous pioneer in humanoid robotics. Our colleagues support our approach to teaching of the state of art IoT technologies. We found many common topics for collaboration, because IoT in robotics applications it’s a next necessary step. Also we discussed […]
IOT-OPEN.EU project was disseminated to the Undergraduate, Graduate students and Computer School staff during Internet of Things meeting. The visit was possible thanks to the Erasmus+ STA programme and the bilateral agreement between Silesian University of Technology and Reykjavik University.
We’re glad to announce, that core technology standing behind our VREL, distant laboratories are ready for implementation. Users are enabled to remotely program distributed network of IOT devices constituting solid ecosystem. Some laboratory stands singular while others constitute a network. A video shows programming process and VREL lab principals. Full access shall be available for […]
