MOOC materials on IoT for tutors

If you are a teacher or tutor, developing your own MOOC course at your university, professional school, or institution is a good starting point. You can use either your internal MOOC or a public platform.

Here, you will find all the materials necessary to implement your course quickly. Materials are provided raw. We do not offer ready exports or snapshots for the aforementioned platforms, so you must compose them yourself.

There are four types of content for each course, available for download:

  • Curriculum: Course structure in the form of a Curriculum, where we describe the organisation into modules.
  • Learning Curves, where we provide complete texts and images presenting what to include in each section. Each chapter contains a structure and content that covers full teleprompter texts for videos, written articles to be posted on the course page (usually in HTML format), and sections for self-evaluation, with marked correct answers, eventually accompanied by open-ended questions. Occasionally, we suggest using a form of discussion or presentation (such as open questions) to allow students to integrate within the course.
  • Module Videos that constitute the core of the course. Videos are hosted via the YouTube platform. Links are provided in the course structure, and manually validated English subtitles accompany each video. All videos are rendered in 1080p resolution, but YouTube may automatically limit access to the best quality. All videos contain spoken audio in the English language and automated subtitles.

Course materials

Course Structure Definition files, Learning Curves and Supplementary Materials files are available for download in each course section below.

We suggest downloading the Course Structure Definition file first, followed by the related ZIP file, which contains details such as Learning Curves for each chapter and Video Supplementary Files.

Currently, we offer public access to the resources and materials for three courses, marked as follows:
